With recent news surrounding royal couple Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, the world is abuzz for the possibility of a royal baby on the way.

What sparks the bump watch is when Kate reportedly refused to taste the United Nations rations particularly peanut butter during her and Will’s UNICEF mission to Copenhagen.

Doctors urge pregnant women in their first trimester to avoid peanuts and their nutty by-products in order to avoid allergies during early development.  Will taste the peanut while Kate refused with a knowing smile.

Although Kate appears to be as skinny as ever. The press seems to make a lot of these incident as Kate us not allergic to nuts nor refuse to taste food in their visits before.

The couple has also decided to make their first place officially at Kensington Palace. They are currently residing at a smaller property at Kensington Palace as their temporary home but they will move to the 20-room, four-story apartment last lived in by the late Princess Margaret by mid- 2013.

Why will it take that long for them to move in? The place is currently managed by the Historic Royal Palaces charity and is used for offices, classrooms and storage, as well as a public exhibition. The exhibition, which occupies part of the apartment, will end in September 2012.

After that the place needs a serious remodeling worth $1.6 million dollars. The pad needs large quantities of asbestos removed, as well as work on the heating and hot water systems and electrical wiring since the last major works in the apartment took place back in 1960.

Although most of the remodeling cost will come from grant-in-aid budgets provided to the royal household for royal residences for 2011-12 and 2012-13, and to the Sovereign Support Grant from 2013, Will and Kate will shoulder any glitz-and-glam interior decorating and furnishing beyond the re-plastering and painting.

The preparation for a permanent residence for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge which was already approved by the Queen and Prince of Wales is also said to accomodate the coming of the a royal baby.
