While working with dogs in her new movie, Ashley had to really extend her patience.
Ashley is back again as Sharpay Evans from the High School Musical franchise. But this time around, she has been given the lead role for Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures. In the television movie, the want to be actress Sharpay travels to New York to pursue her dreams of becoming a famous celebrity only to be disappointed once again when her pet dog gets more attention than her.
Many of the scenes of the new movie were filmed with two Yorkshire Terriers who exchangeably played the role of Boi. And although the dogs were not behaved most of the time, Ashley insisted on saying that she appreciates both Terriers.
She said that she found the dogs really cute when filming the movie but she has to extend her patience. Although they were mischievous at times, Ashley was quick to defend that they are just animals and you cannot expect them to understand that easily. The movie was also the dog’s first project and so even if they were trained just a month before, Ashley cannot help herself from adoring them.
Ashley had her shot at fame when she became a part of the hit High School Musical franchises. And she said that she will always be grateful to the television movie because it led her to the career she is very much enjoying now. The young twenty
five year old pretty lad remained connected with her cast mates in the show namely Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. Whenever they have a free time, they try to make it a point to regularly meet up.
When Ashley was interviewed on how it felt being in High School Musical, she answered that it was crazy but at the same time fun because she felt like she was living in a dream. She added that they were really having a good time filming the movie because all of them were friends and no one really knew that it would become very successful after it was released.She is really thankful to all the supporters who appreciated their work.
Ashley had a blast portraying Sharpay. And so when she was offered to do a solo movie about Sharpay, she did not hesitate at all because the character had brought her to where she is now.
Although she may already be very much connected to her role Sharpay, she is still very open to accept other roles that are opposite of what and who Sharpay is. She wants to challenge herself and grow as an actress. She does not want to be stereotyped and so she will continue to pursue her passion both for acting and singing.
