The Hangover became known for its over the top craziness and stunts. So why should you watch its second part that is going to be shown in theaters this Friday?
We will give you five reasons why you should not miss the sequel.
1) There is new cast in the movie: A monkey!
Although there is no more tiger in the sequel, there is absolutely a one smart, not be fooled around with monkey to fill the vacancy. She knows how to light that cigarette and can certainly distribute those illegal drugs around without getting caught. But this one, like all others, did not escape the prying eyes of the animal rights group. The director Todd Phillips and the Warner Brothers were quick to explain their side though that although the monkey may appear to be smoking in the movie, she actually did not take any of it. Most of the monkey’s attitude as shown in the movie were added digitally.
2) More male skin will be exposed.
Yes! Mr. Chow already exposed some skin in the first franchise, but he is not stopping there. He said that whatever he had shown in the first movie, will be seen again in the second movie. And he is all doing for this to portray his role well. It’s good to know that an actor such as him is so passionate about his craft that he will do anything just to make us laugh. But he also added that there will absolutely be more “balls” in the movie compared to the first one.
3) Even the casts were astonished by the craziness of the sequel.
As if the first one was not crazy enough, one cast remembered that while he was reading the script he was like, “Oh God! Oh God!”. While another one agreed adding that there is no more dignity left for them once they started going on set. And we did not really expect that they would exceed the craziness of the first movie. But from the looks of it they did. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens on Friday.
4) Ed Helms got demons inside him.
Not only did he set aside his dignity to make us all laugh in the movie, but while they were still filming he suffered food poisoning in Thailand but still continued on. It already started at the beginning of their filming but the professional actor that Helms is, he sucked it in to complete the movie. Other members of the movie were really amazed on how much pain he was able to tolerate. At one point, when the pain got so intense, Helm had to curb up in fetal position but then stood up after it was gone.
5) It is not the last that you will see of them.
Director Phillips said in a recent press conference that he sees the movie as having three parts. Though concrete plans were not made yet, he said that there will definitely be a third movie with a different format from the previous and it will finally be the end of the crazy adventure.
