This is the second of a three part report on Hollywood celebrities’ worth trying weight loss secrets.
In collaboration with Doctor Wayne Andersen (wrote the book, “Dr. A’s Habit of Health” and created the “Take Shape for Life) and Doctor Eric Braverman (wrote the book, “Younger/Sexier You), we ask them to help us peel the “skinny” on celebrity weight loss secrets. So girls, take note.
JORDIN SPARKS
After many have followed her rise from her American Idol days, one can say that Jordin really has lost a lot of weight. The good news is she isn’t losing so much of it (as will be manifested by signs of sunken cheeks and very emphasized cheekbones, protruding clavicle, or really skinny arms).
In order to ensure that you are just losing the right amount of excess weight, calculate your body mass index first. The corresponding result should be less than 25 but more than 19.5. You can also measure you waist circumference which should be less than 32 inches according to Doctor Andersen.
TYRA BANKS
The ex-supermodel revealed that she lost weight by going back to healthy eating. That is, she kicked some of her bad food choices such as eating her salad with bacon.
Andersen added to lessen or as much as possible avoid from meat especially that saturated ones which are high in deep fried foods. He said to fill in on more lean protein (such as lean chicken meat and fish) and to reduce sugar intake found in highly processed bread and pastas.
NICOLE RICHIE
This petite hot momma has been thin for so many years. No one would be able to tell that she used to be big back in the days. Andersen said that it can be quiet inspiring for women to witness someone who has battled their weight issues for awhile and has kept it off ever since.
He also added as reminder that not everyone can go down as low as Nicole Richie did because the celebrity was genetically designed to be that petite. And her body type is not applicable to everyone.
He suggests though to compute for your ideal body mass index and remain in that range. You can add weight training to your weekly routine to tone those muscles up as well as assist in weight maintenance.
JENNIFER HUDSON
Jennifer Hudson is now the new representative of the Weight Watchers. And why wouldn’t she be after her public transformation has got everyone talking and in awe at her newly found sexy figure? It almost got everyone searching for the weight Watchers number and reaching for the phone. Although Braverman reveals that it’s not as perfect as it sounds. Here he weighs the positive and negative aspects of the program.
Positive aspect:
* unexpectedly, anyone can afford the program
*it can easily be implemented
*it can be used for long standing weight loss and maintenance
Negative aspect:
*you have to purchase their products
*religious counting of calories (although it doesn’t matter if the food is junk or not; this isn’t very healthy)
* you have to join classes regularly which can be time consuming and unnecessary for people who are on the go

All of your negative aspects about the weight watchers plan are untrue. They have their own products but you do NOT have to buy them. You do NOT have to count calories AT ALL on this plan. Each food has its own points plus value & the website & app tells you what the value is if you key in or scan the food. Also, you do NOT have to join classes to be on the program. You have the option of attending meetings but its not required.
I think JHud and Jordin look great and I’m so proud of them for reaching their goals. Tyra looks great either way but I like her better thicker….she wasn’t even that thick to begin with. Nicole on the other hand needs to gain the weight back. She looks sick.
