Popstar Justin Bieber denied that he fathered a child with 20-year-old Mariah Yeater. “I’d just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true,” Bieber said. “I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”
Yeater claims that she conceived her son during a backstage hookup with Bieber after one of his concerts in Staples Center, Los Angeles. But Bieber said he never met the woman and always went straight to his car after every concert.
But Bieber is not the only man who Yeater claimed as the father of her child. In fact, Yeater reportedly told her ex-boyfriend, John Terranova, that he was the baby daddy as well.
“She came back here from California telling me she was pregnant with my child and I said this is impossible, you’ve been in California two months and back here for only a week,” the 19-year-old Las Vegas resident told the Post.
“After I told her that’s not my kid, you’ve only been here for a week, then she told me, ‘No, I got pregnant before I left by you,” Terranova continued. “But it didn’t make sense because she had a doctor’s note saying she wasn’t pregnant enough for that to be possible. It didn’t add up.”
Terranova also said it’s impossible that Bieber is the father of her child. “I know it’s not Justin Bieber,” Terranova said. “She just wants money. It’s a scam.”
Yeater is asking for a paternity test and child support. With these allegation surrounding Bieber it was also reported her girlfriend Selena Gomez broke up with him.
“His camp is in damage control mode and attempting to convince her to stick around in the relationship for a few more weeks, because they fear it will be seen as an admission that something indeed took place between Justin and the woman who is alleging that he’s the father of her baby,” the source said.
But Bieber’s rep tells E! News that there is “no truth” behind the Radar story that the duo have ended their young romance.
A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15 on paternity suit to determine if Bieber is the father of Yeater’s child.
But Yeater will come to court earlier because she faces a bench trial Dec. 12 on a misdemeanor battery charge after slapping her former boyfriend Terranova. That could get her six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Yeater could also be investigated for having had sex with a minor in connection with the Bieber claim. It’s illegal in California to have sex with someone under age 18.
