It’s Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s first year wedding anniversary and do they plan to extend their family in the near future?
California Gurl singer Perry says she’s willing to have kids with husband and British comedian Brand as long as ‘it doesn’t hurt’. But that plan is in not at the moment. The busy pop star talked to Ellen De Generes about her plan to have kids.
“Do you want to have a family? Is that something that you all talk about — that you want to have children?” Ellen DeGeneres asked Katy as she sat down for an interview for Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“Yeah, I would love to have children,” Katy replied. “I think that’s one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think, ‘That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.’”
But how many children does Perry wants to have? A lot, as long as it doesn’t hurt the first time.
“If it doesn’t hurt the first time … I’ll keep popping them out,” she said.
But as of the moment, the busy aspiring mom-to-be has just finished her ‘California Dreams Tour’ and to wrap up her tour, she will be performing a free concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 23.
“I want to finish it off by renting out Staples (Center) myself and giving a free concert to anyone in the world that wants to come to the ‘California Dreams’ tour as my last show,” she said.
