While filming Men in Black III in New York, Will Smith had to make use of a trailer truck which caught the attention
of the residents there in a negative way. The New Yorkers described the truck as huge and annoying.
The famous Hollywood celebrity, Will Smith, is recently working on the third franchise of Men in Black in specifically IN Manhattan, New York along with his long time co-stars in the movie Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.
Whenever Smith had his vacant time, he enjoyed it inside his big double-decked mobile home which was parked in the Soho district of New York city as scenes we’re being shot for the upcoming blockbuster. The big trailer truck is made up of two floors where there is a cinema room, a lounge bar to hang on, unidentified number of offices, another meeting room, a whole structured kitchen, a really huge bedroom, and a bathroom. And the truck extends to a length of 53 feet.
Aside from the trailer mentioned, there is also a second trailer truck which houses the Smith’s whole structured gym. Due to this huge and space consuming trailer trucks, the residents we’re really angered adding that the structures we’re causing disturbances.
A resident who lives near the set up of Smith’s trailer trucks, Myrna Reisman, 62 years old, said that the structures we’re absurd because for the twenty-six years that she was living their, she’s never witnessed anything so big and distracting. She also added that, “How would Will Smith feel if two huge structures such as the trailer trucks we’re parked in front of his own yard? Have they forgotten that this is a residential neighborhood and not a shooting lot?”
Bridgette Moreno, 22 years of age, another resident of the neighborhood also complained that the trucks we’re actually bigger than her apartment that it consumes so much of the space that the people there use to freely enjoy. She said that it doesn’t smell so good like Will Smith seems to be living in a gas station in the trucks.
In order to solve this little rift between Will Smith and the residents of the neighborhood, officials of the city have assigned cops to work together with the upcoming movie’s production team to make sure that no special treatment are given to them. Thus, no parking rules are being violated or will be violated by the team’s vehicles.
Though Julianne Cho who is the associate commissioner of the Mayor’s office of film, theater, and broadcasting announced that no rules we’re disobeyed. She said that supervisors and officers who we’re assigned to the case are working tightly with the movie’s production to make sure that parking of their vehicles is in compliance with their given permit.
